Liberal Arts and Sciences - eng

Liberal Arts and Sciences is a degree program designed for students whose interests do not fit neatly into a single specialization, as well as for those who are still exploring their academic passions. Our interdisciplinary bachelor’s program is dedicated to such students, enabling them to deepen their knowledge across multiple fields while developing a broad set of transferable skills.
Despite its English name, the program is rooted in the Middle Ages and draws on the ideal of the artes liberales. According to this tradition, every specialization should rest on a foundation of wide-ranging general knowledge and universal intellectual skills. We have expanded the traditional canon of seven liberal arts (such as mathematics and astronomy) to include modern disciplines such as physics, biology, chemistry, history, and psychology.
Over the course of three years, students in our program gain a comprehensive overview of contemporary scholarship, spanning both the humanities and the experimental sciences. This academic breadth is complemented by the development of key competencies, including public speaking, logical reasoning, and teamwork.
Education grounded in these principles fosters intellectual curiosity, a commitment to truth-seeking, and a holistic understanding of the world. At the same time, we believe that the Liberal Arts and Sciences model equips our graduates to meet the challenges of today’s rapidly evolving job market.
